Bertold Ulsamer is a German psychologist and lawyer, an international trainer of Family Constellations since the late nineties. He learned from Hellinger and developed a pedagogy of the method that has become a reference for training schools in Europe and Latin America.
His book Sin raíces no hay alas (2004, Desclée de Brouwer) is one of the most widely read manuals in the Spanish-speaking world. It combines theoretical explanations of systemic laws with detailed narratives of real sessions, allowing the reader to see how Constellation work unfolds in practice.
Ulsamer is especially clear in explaining the functioning of the “knowing field” and the principles of neutrality and respect that a constellator must uphold. His work is widely cited in serious training programs and remains faithful to the original spirit of the method.
